THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hearing Engagement Specialist for our Hearing Center located within Sam’s Club. This role is responsible for converting customer interest into scheduled appointments for hearing tests, ensuring that customers receive personalized attention and valuable information. This role is designed for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, providing valuable information, and promoting our hearing solutions. This role will report directly into the Head of Retail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations, promote the Hearing Center as an exclusive Sam’s Club benefit, and inform customers about complimentary hearing tests.
  • Appointment Facilitation: Convert interest into scheduled appointments using Audicus’s platform, ensuring smooth scheduling and follow-up.
  • Zone Optimization: Collaborate with the manager to identify high-traffic areas and adjust placement in the store to maximize engagement and appointment growth.
  • Tools and Collateral Management: Use company devices to schedule appointments and manage inventory of marketing materials (SWAG) to enhance customer interactions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track KPIs, including appointment rates and customer interactions, to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven ability to engage and communicate confidently with customers in retail or customer service.
  • Outgoing, personable, and proactive, with strong listening skills to tailor information based on customer needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and adapt to changing customer traffic and store activity.
  • Sales or high-volume retail experience with a proven track record.
  • Comfortable using scheduling platforms and other digital tools; tech-savvy.

Physical Demands

  •  Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday. 

Compensation Range: 

$20-$25/hour - commensurate with experience/location
This is a nonexempt, hourly position eligible for overtime pay.

Schedule
20-30 hours per week (Part-Time) | Thursday - Monday
Must be able to work onsite
Must be available for weekends
