About the Role
Reporting to the Global Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem, the Head of Technology Partnerships will be responsible for the development, management and growth of Miro’s technology partnerships: driving the future of Miro’s platform through key partnerships that enhance the user experiences and support Miro’s growth plans. You will be a strategic leader, fostering an internal culture of partnership and working closely with the executive team to define and execute our technology partnership and broader ecosystem vision.  You will drive the development of a world-class partner ecosystem, expanding Miro's market reach and delivering exceptional value to our users through strategic integrations and alliances. You will spearhead the creation of a comprehensive partnership strategy, aligning with Miro's overarching business objectives and influencing the future direction of our platform. You will Identify opportunities with partners that can deliver asymmetric impact on Miro’s short and long-term business outcomes.
These partnerships will shape the overall direction and strategy of Miro’s ecosystem and the solutions we offer our customers which will increase win-rates, reduce churn,  and increase Miro’s customer count and ARR.
What you’ll do
Strategic Partnership Vision & Planning:
  • Collaborate with Miro's leadership to define the strategic direction and roadmap for technology partnerships, ensuring alignment with overall company goals
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive partnership strategy, identifying key market opportunities and potential partner synergies
  • Conduct data-driven decision making (including market analysis, voice of customer, competitive research) to inform partnership strategies and identify emerging technology trends
  • Present strategic partnership plans and recommendations to the executive team, gaining buy-in and securing resources for execution
Leadership & Executive Engagement:
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Technology Partner Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and achievement
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with critical technology partners, ensuring strategic alignment and driving joint initiatives
  • Work with the executive team to define and negotiate complex partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of technology partnerships and team performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership
Product Innovation, Strategy & Thought Leadership:
  • Partner with the CPTO and product leadership to drive the integration of emerging technologies with partners, ensuring Miro remains ahead of the curve in delivering seamless, user-centric product innovations
  • Secure exclusive and/or first to market opportunities with ecosystem partners, including alphas/betas that will enhance the customer experience and Miro's platform offerings
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to define and develop compelling integration use cases and value propositions, influencing the product roadmap
  • Provide strategic input on API development and platform enhancements to support partner integrations and ecosystem growth
  • Present integration strategies to Miro leadership, and gain alignment on execution
Ecosystem Development & Business Growth:
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand Miro's ecosystem, attracting and onboarding key technology partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop joint go-to-market strategies and drive partner engagement
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand Miro’s ecosystem globally, identifying and cultivating key international partnerships to drive market penetration and growth, particularly in emerging regions
  • Establish and manage programs to support and incentivize partner growth, fostering a thriving partner community
  • Work with leadership to define the measurements of a successful ecosystem
  • Incubate new integration &  go-to-market motions with partners to identify the “what’s next” opportunity for Miro
Executive Leadership & Influence:
  • Serve as a key member of the extended leadership team, providing strategic insights and contributing to overall company strategy
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all departments, fostering collaboration and alignment on partnership initiatives
  • Represent Miro at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and promoting our technology partnerships
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on partnership progress, challenges, and opportunities
What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in technology partnerships, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of strategic leadership
  • Extensive experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of API integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise software, with a strategic perspective on technology trends
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach and a proven ability to drive business growth
  • Experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership
  • Experience in the collaboration, productivity, or visual communication software space is a plus

The reasonably estimated salary range is specific to New York / San Francisco / Los Angeles and may not be applicable to other locations. The range for this role is $216,000 to $270,000. Final compensation and total package components will be based on individual factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
