About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function and play a critical role in our next phase of growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be directly reporting to the CEO, and be responsible for developing and executing our financial strategy, spearheading investor relations, and ensuring that GITAI has the resources it needs to achieve its ambitious goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and is passionate about shaping the future of space exploration.


Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with new venture capital firms, institutional investors, and other potential funding sources.
  • Develop, review and deliver compelling investment presentations and other communication materials that showcase GITAI's value proposition.
  • Lead the execution of fundraising rounds, including due diligence and negotiation processes.
  • Maintain active and ongoing communication with investors, providing timely and transparent updates on GITAI's performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with GITAI's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular financial reporting to top management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize capital allocation to support GITAI's growth.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience leading one or more funding rounds at a startup prior to Series B, or experience founding a startup and successfully raising funds one or more times.
  • Active network of VC contacts in the United States.
  • Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity markets.
  • Deep knowledge of financial processes, including procurement, expense management, reporting, and revenue operations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills —capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time including to stakeholders locations.

Salary:

  • $140,000/yr - $165,000/yr
