You’ll define how things get built, not follow someone else’s playbook. Six principles guide how the team works:
📈 1% Better Every Day: small, compounding improvements across everything you ship.
❤️🔥 Customer Obsession: start with the customer and work backward.
🚀 Ship Today: bias toward action and iteration over perfection.
🧗 Find a Way: resourcefulness and ambition over constraint.
🤝 Care: be direct, like an honest friend, even when it’s uncomfortable.
🎯 Own It: full accountability, proactive communication, and attention to detail.
We are seeking a Head of Revenue Operations to build and lead our revenue operations function from the ground up at GC AI. This role will report to Andrew Conley (CRO). You will have unparalleled visibility into company-wide initiatives and the autonomy to shape the strategy and execution of marketing, sales, customer, and partner operations. You will be a hands-on operator and visionary strategist, responsible for hiring and building a high-performing team, establishing scalable processes, and selecting the right technology stack to drive revenue growth.
We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, with deep expertise in revenue operations and a proven ability to go from 0 to 1. Ideally, you’ve built revenue operations functions or led transformative initiatives independently, not just supported senior leaders, and are passionate about aligning cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes in a legal tech, AI-driven market.
What You'll Do
Build Revenue Operations from the Ground Up: Design and implement a comprehensive revenue operations strategy, encompassing marketing, sales, customer, and partner operations, to optimize the end-to-end revenue lifecycle and drive sustainable growth.
Hire and Lead a Team: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing revenue operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Create Processes and Structure: Develop and document scalable processes for demand generation, sales forecasting, pipeline management, customer retention, and partner strategy
Select and Implement Technology: Identify, acquire, and integrate a best-in-class technology stack to support revenue operations and enhance team efficiency.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams to align strategies, streamline workflows, and ensure consistent messaging and execution for legal industry buyers.
Optimize Revenue Performance: Translate go-to-market initiatives into actionable programs that fuel pipeline growth, accelerate deal cycles, improve win rates, and maximize customer lifetime value.
Measure and Report Impact: Define and track KPIs (e.g., revenue growth, pipeline velocity, customer retention rates, partner contribution) to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-driven decisions.
Act as a Strategic Doer: Balance hands-on execution (e.g., building playbooks, configuring tools, training teams) with strategic leadership to set the vision and roadmap for revenue operations.
7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Proven track record of building revenue operations functions or leading transformative initiatives from scratch in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in legal tech or AI-driven software.
Experience recruiting, hiring, and managing cross-functional teams in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement processes, structures, and technology stacks for marketing, sales, customer, and partner operations.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive consensus in ambiguous settings.
Strong analytical mindset, with expertise in defining KPIs, leveraging data, and optimizing revenue performance.
Self-starter mentality, with a history of thriving in fast-paced environments and balancing strategic planning with tactical execution.
Familiarity with the legal domain or legal text processing.
Experience with AI technologies
Proficiency with revenue operations tools
Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDICC/Command of the Message.
Track record of implementing technology stacks or contributing to technical/process documentation.
We’re building something new in a once-in-a-generation shift in technology and the legal industry, so we move at a relentless pace. We expect urgency, ownership, and good judgment even when things aren’t perfectly clear. If you need structure and consensus to do your best work, this isn’t the right place for you. If you thrive in ambiguity and growth, work with intensity, and want real responsibility, keep reading. We’re excited to meet you.
How We Work TogetherGC AI is a distributed company with team members across North America, and soon Europe. We believe that because our business is AI, human connection matters more, not less. We invest in bringing people together through our hub model: regular coworking sessions, customer dinners, team and company offsites. If you’re in a location without an office, expect up to 10% travel (and more for customer-facing roles).
Team members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo, UT (within 50 miles of the office) work together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As we grow, we plan to establish permanent offices in more hub cities, and we will look to our team members to help build that in-person culture. We currently hire across the United States and Canada.
