Company Overview:
We are building Protege to solve the biggest unmet need in AI — getting access to the right training data. The process today is time intensive, incredibly expensive, and often ends in failure. The Protege platform facilitates the secure, efficient, and privacy-centric exchange of AI training data.
Solving AI’s data problem is a generational opportunity. We’re backed by world-class investors and already powering partnerships with some of the most ambitious teams in AI. The company that succeeds will be one of the largest in AI — and in tech.
We’re a lean, fast-moving, high-trust team of builders who are obsessed with velocity and impact. Our culture is built for people who thrive on ambiguity, own outcomes, and want to shape the future of data and AI.
Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Head of Product Success (Media) to own and scale our deal fulfillment and delivery operations across our media and video verticals. This director-level role is responsible for ensuring that what we sell is delivered—on time, at quality, and at scale—by leading a team of Operations Managers and building the systems that support reliable execution.
This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Operations. You’ll be accountable for turning signed deals into successfully fulfilled outcomes, while designing processes that can support rapid growth, new verticals, and increasing complexity in a startup environment.
This role is ideal for a seasoned operator who thrives in a startup environment—someone who can zoom out to define strategy and structure, and zoom in to coach managers, unblock execution, and build scalable systems from the ground up.
Product & Deal Fulfillment
Own end-to-end fulfillment for Media deals, from pre sales sampling through to final delivery
Oversee execution across video, audio, and motion capture pipelines, ensuring consistency and quality
Partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Engineering, and Product to translate deal terms into executable plans
Manage scope, timelines, resourcing, and risk across multiple concurrent deals
Operations & Process
Design, implement, and continuously improve operational workflows for the Media vertical
Build scalable systems for scoping work, scheduling, production tracking, and delivery
Establish clear success metrics, reporting, and accountability across projects
Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve for scale, efficiency, and quality
Team Leadership
Manage and grow a media product success team for each vertical
Set clear goals, roles, and expectations for team members
Coach and develop high-performing operators and project leads
Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and execution excellence
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the primary point of coordination between Media, Product, Engineering, Sales, Product and external partners
Provide feedback loops to Product and Engineering based on delivery learnings and partner needs to shape future product offerings
Support strategic planning for new Media offerings and capabilities
7+ years of experience in operations, customer success, deal operations, sales fulfillment, chief of staff, or client delivery roles—ideally in media, AI, or tech
Proven experience managing teams and complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Strong operational instincts—you can design systems, not just run them
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Experience working with AI-driven media or emerging creative technologies
Background in a startup or high-growth environment
Experience owning post-sale delivery for enterprise or strategic partners
This role is critical to Protege AI’s Media success. You’ll define how we deliver and retain clients, not just what we sell, shaping partner trust, revenue durability, and the foundation for scaling our Media vertical.
