Dynatrace is seeking multiple talented interns to join our D1 Operations organization, supporting initiatives across Support, Tools Engineering, Customer Success, and AI Innovation. These roles help build a world where software works perfectly by improving how our customers access knowledge, accelerating internal processes with AI and automation, and developing strategies for scalable innovation.
Interns will collaborate with leaders across Operations, Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Support, Services, and Customer Success—gaining hands-on experience in both Engineering and Strategy domains.
Your role at DynatraceWe are looking for motivated junior or senior students pursuing degrees in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Communications, Business, or related fields. As a D1 Intern, you may support projects in one or more of the following areas:
AI, Automation & Engineering Projects
- Build and integrate AI agents and tooling into existing business workflows.
- Assess AI backlogs and contribute to solution design, architecture, and effort estimation.
- Develop automation to streamline processes such as Product End of Life (EOL) management.
- Collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering teams to improve LLM/agent quality and output.
Knowledge Management & Customer Empowerment
- Support the development of knowledge management strategies, processes, and content workflows.
- Implement AI to accelerate drafting, curation, and quality review of customer-facing content.
Strategy & Innovation Initiatives
- Build AI innovation strategy models that enable rapid prototyping and scalable adoption.
- Evaluate prototype value, develop process flows, and help prioritize high-value projects.
- Groom project backlogs and collaborate with engineering interns on execution.
Interns will regularly partner with VP Operations, Directors across Support/Services/Customer Success, and technical stakeholders across the D1 ecosystem.

- Currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Communications, Business, or related fields.
Experience
- 0–1 years of experience.
- Strong interest in technology, AI, and software-driven organizations.
