About Re:Build

At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.

We operate a sophisticated, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

The way we operate is as meaningful as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and give to the communities where we operate. The Re:Build Way principles

Re:Build is building Livewire, a launchpad business bringing AI-native software to intuitive wire harness design and manufacturing. The product is real, customers are already using it, and there's still a lot to learn about how the growth engine should work; that's where this role comes in.

We're looking for a hands-on product growth leader who can connect the whole customer journey: how the right users find Livewire, what gets them into the product, what gets them to real value, what brings them back, and what eventually gets them to pay. You'll work closely with Product and also partner with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success. Together, you will make that journey measurable and keep a consistent flow of experiments. These experiments will help turn what you learn into better product and growth decisions.

This is a builder role. You should be just as comfortable looking at product behavior as acquisition data, enjoy running experiments, want to talk to users, and be energized by the fact that there isn't a mature growth playbook waiting for you — because you'll help build it. You'll likely start with few or no direct reports. Instead, you will guide external firms, contractors, and internal specialists. See that as an opportunity rather than a limitation.

What You Get To Do
  • Own the growth journey from acquisition through activation, lifecycle and conversion.
  • Build a clear view of the customer journey; who's converting, where they get stuck, and whether they're reaching real value.
  • Run a steady cadence of experiments across acquisition, onboarding, product experience, lifecycle and conversion.
  • Partner with Product to turn user insights into a faster path to value.
  • Build the measurement and operating rhythm that helps the team learn and decide faster.
  • Drive conversion, retention and expansion with Sales, RevOps and Customer Success.
  • Shape positioning and messaging based on customer insight, in partnership with Marketing.
  • Direct agencies and specialists to move faster, without outsourcing the thinking.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Experience in product growth, PLG, lifecycle marketing or a similar role; and you know growth doesn't stop at signup.
  • Hands-on experience designing and running experiments, including with imperfect data and small samples.
  • Strong partnership with Product, using customer and product data to drive decisions.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and limited infrastructure.
  • Strong quantitative skills  funnels, cohorts, conversion and experiment analysis.
  • Familiarity with product analytics, CRM/marketing automation, web analytics and experimentation tools.
  • Preferred: product-led, self-service or digital commerce experience. Wire harness/CAD/manufacturing expertise not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Product-led, self-service, digital commerce or online buying experience.
  • Domain expertise in wire harnesses, CAD or manufacturing is not required; what matters is the ability to learn a technical customer and workflow quickly.
Additional Information

This is a sedentary role in a standard office environment, with occasional air and car travel. The working assumption is a standard full-time schedule with flexibility to collaborate closely with Product, Marketing and other Re:Build teams.

This is a chance to build, not inherit. Livewire is early enough that the important questions aren't all answered yet; which users get the most value, what makes them change how they work, where they get stuck, and what turns early usage into a lasting habit and commercial relationship. The Head of Product Growth will sit right in the middle of that work, close to Product, with significant influence over how Livewire's growth system gets built.

Compensation (Exempt)

The base salary range for this position is $120,223.20 - $214,598.41 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to proven experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.

The BIG payoff

We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the areas where we choose to operate.    Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
