Dashworks is on a mission to accelerate work with AI. Our product Dash AI is an assistant that deeply integrates with the tools we use every day like Slack, Notion, and Gmail, to answer questions, create content, automate workflows, and get things done.

Since launching Dash AI in July 2023, we've brought on customers like HeyGen, Synthesia, Podium, Swiggy, Truecar, and many more, positioning us as a category leader for SMBs in this new and fast growing category of AI work assistants.

We are backed by best in class investors like Y Combinator and South Park Commons, and angels like founders of Gusto, Mercury, Cresta, and Twitch. And we're just getting started!

Our small but mighty team loves working closely with customers, taking on ambitious challenges with creative solutions, and moving very quickly (we call it #dashspeed). Join us to accelerate this next phase of growth!

About The Role

  • Not your typical growth function: This founding growth role is best suited for someone with a multi-disciplinary background/interest who's eager to dive deep into GTM execution. You'll experiment with new growth channels, build community, and discover innovative ways to connect with our target customers.

  • Be an integral part of the growth engine: You'll spearhead experiments that drive company growth as we transition from product-market fit to go-to-market fit.

  • Flex your creative and analytical skills: This unique role offers equal exposure to data (building prospecting lists, optimizing funnel analysis) and creativity (developing community programs, social campaigns, and events).

  • Learn more in 1 week at Dashworks than 1 year elsewhere: We achieve more with less—shipping what larger teams do with a fraction of the resources and time. Our customers consistently praise our responsiveness and speed as what sets us apart.

  • Join an incredible team at a pivotal moment: We're on the cusp of explosive growth. Become part of a passionate, scrappy, and humble team of builders who will inspire you daily.

What You’ll Do

Own growth experiments and help build Dashworks' repeatable revenue engine.

Revenue

  • Generate pipeline by driving new leads for Dashworks, leveraging your analytical and creative skills to develop and test lead generation strategies.

  • Create targeted account lists based on buying signals and conduct message/channel fit experiments to identify optimal account entry points.

  • Design, execute, and evaluate the impact of growth experiments from start to finish.

Community, Partners, and Ecosystem

  • Develop the partners and ecosystem strategy from scratch.

  • Identify and manage co-marketing, co-selling, and technology partner relationships.

  • Expand and enhance the Slack community to drive inbound pipeline for new business.

  • Cultivate a community of Dashworks advocates and influencers.

  • Develop programs to nurture product champions, supporting expansion and renewal goals.

Ops/Analytics

  • Solve complex cross-functional problems through improved processes and tools.

  • Develop systems, processes, and internal tools to streamline and scale our go-to-market operations.

  • Create and analyze dashboards that model growth, identifying strengths and opportunities for Dashworks' go-to-market team.

What You Bring

  • Relevant experience: 2+ years in growth, operations, or strategy at a fast-growing startup.

  • Problem solver: Ability to dissect complex problems and find well-reasoned solutions. Relentless in pursuit of solutions with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Analytical: Experience analyzing data to recognize patterns and extract insights that drive decisions.

  • Intellectual curiosity: Proactive in identifying new opportunities for Dashworks and able to tackle new projects with minimal direction. Hungry to learn.

  • Scrappy: Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to experiment with new ideas. Bias towards action—moving quickly, but intentionally.

  • Clear communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with corporate-level executives (VP, C-Level).

  • Low ego: No task is too big or small. Eager to dive deep into the details when needed and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience owning a pipeline or revenue goal/KPI

  • Familiarity with go-to-market tools (e.g., Apollo, Salesloft, Clay, ZoomInfo) and no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier) for integrating systems and running experiments

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Metabase)

  • Competence in SQL

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
