What You'll Do
  • We are seeking a data-driven, strategic, and execution-oriented Head of Global Demand Generation to lead our global pipeline generation engine. In this role, you will design, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation strategies that drive scalable, predictable revenue growth across global markets. Your mission is to: 1) drive a high volume of new mapbox accounts, and 2) deliver incremental marketing generated and influenced sales pipeline through marketing programs. You will manage a high- performing team focused on inbound/outbound marketing, lead management, account-based marketing (ABM), integrated digital marketing campaigns, and marketing operations.

We are seeking a forward-thinking demand generation leader who can apply AI and machine learning to automate marketing workflows, optimize lead targeting and routing engines, and transform complex system data into predictive pipeline insights.

    • Global Strategy & Pipeline Growth: Define and execute the global demand generation strategy to meet and exceed pipeline and revenue targets across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.

    • Integrated Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns (paid search/social, content syndication, events, webinars, email, and partner co-marketing).

    • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Build and scale a high-impact ABM program targeting high-value enterprise accounts in tight alignment with Sales leadership.

    • Funnel & Conversion Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize full-funnel performance metrics—from initial touchpoint to MQL, SQL, opportunity creation, and closed-won deals.

    • Marketing Tech & Operations: Lead the MarTech roadmap (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, 6sense/Demandbase, Gong) to ensure accurate attribution, reporting, and automated lead management.

    • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Product Marketing to refine lead routing, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), buyer personas, and messaging.

    • Budget & Agency Management: Manage the global demand gen budget, optimizing ROI and payback periods; oversee external agencies, vendors, and contractor relationships.

    • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and foster a culture of high performance, testing, and continuous learning within the global demand generation team.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
  • Experience: 10+ years of B2B demand generation experience, with at least 5+ years in a director or senior management role (SaaS or Tech industry preferred).

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success driving sourced and influenced pipeline across multi-region global markets.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on and strategic expertise with MarTech stacks (CRM, MAP, ABM, attribution platforms, and web analytics tools).

  • Analytical Mindset: Expert in marketing analytics, attribution models, and business performance KPIs (CAC, LTV, conversion rates, payback period).

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of aligning Marketing and Sales leadership around shared pipeline goals.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
