We are looking for a visionary leader to drive strategic growth and new business opportunities in the live entertainment space.

THE ROLE

As the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Project Development, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing new Touring and Event relationships, negotiating licensing agreements for our IP, and driving strategic growth across our live event offerings. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep understanding of touring and live event operations, licensing models, and the intricate landscape of live event production and touring. You will leverage your extensive industry network to forge mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance our market presence and drive revenue growth.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Create and implement comprehensive strategies to secure new venue partnerships and expand licensing opportunities for our IP and live event concepts

  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key IP owners, Talent reps, festivals and event spaces

  • Lead negotiations and finalize licensing agreements for our intellectual property, live event formats, and brand extensions

  • Develop and structure high-value deals with venues, IP holders, promoters, and other key stakeholders

  • Work closely with event production, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and seamless execution of partnerships and licensing agreements

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and audience behaviours to identify new business opportunities in venue partnerships and licensing

  • Act as a key representative at industry conferences, events, and networking functions

  • Experience in the Development and Review of Financial Modelling associated with Venue deals and Live Events

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or venue/licensing management within the live entertainment industry.

  • Proven track record of securing touring and live event partnerships and negotiating licensing agreements preferred

  • Strong network of industry contacts within the venue, festival, and live event sectors

  • Deep understanding of touring operations, licensing models, and live event production

  • Experience in the structure and review of financial modelling for venue deals and live events

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset

The expected compensation for this position is:

$120,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
