Location: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (on site)
Duration: Summer 2026 (8–12 weeks)
The Hardware Engineering Intern will work alongside the hardware engineering team to assist in hardware validation, testing, and documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in hardware development and testing within the aerospace and defense sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support hardware validation and testing efforts, including lab setup and troubleshooting
• Write engineering documentation and assist in mapping technical processes
• Assist in reviewing schematics, circuit designs, and test results
• Work closely with engineers on ongoing projects and provide technical support as needed
• Perform other related tasks within the Hardware Engineering department as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware testing
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) is a plus
• Hands-on lab or project experience in hardware validation or prototyping is preferred
Education:
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Preferred: Rising seniors; Rising juniors considered on a case-by-case basis. Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00
*Due to export control laws and government contract obligations, must be a US Citizen.*
