About Us:

Notion helps you build beautiful tools for your life’s work. In today's world of endless apps and tabs, Notion provides one place for teams to get everything done, seamlessly connecting docs, notes, projects, calendar, and email—with AI built in to find answers and automate work. Millions of users, from individuals to large organizations like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI, love Notion for its flexibility and choose it because it helps them save time and money.

In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About the Role:

As GTM AI & Innovation Manager, you will support revenue growth by architecting and implementing AI-powered solutions that enhance our GTM team's effectiveness and accelerate customer acquisition. Working closely with GTM teams, Business Technology, Data Science and Automations Engineering, you'll help develop innovative approaches to leverage AI for improving sales processes and optimizing customer outcomes.

You'll partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities where AI and automation can transform how we generate revenue and acquire customers. Your role will focus on designing, testing, and scaling AI-driven solutions that help our sales team work more efficiently. You'll execute builds or collaborate with engineers to launch and iterate on solutions, while helping shape our thinking on AI workflows, agents, and modern tools that make our GTM motion more effective.

We're looking for someone who combines strong product thinking with systems-level reasoning and genuine passion for GTM engineering. You should have hands-on experience in the technical side of the sales cycle, GTM system design and/or growth engineering/product management with exposure to revenue teams, with a bias toward experimentation and learning. This person should be excited to innovate at the intersection of AI and go-to-market, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive measurable improvements.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Systems Thinking: Understand how to design systems that meet field sellers, marketers and post-sales resources where they do their daily work, maximizing our existing tool stack and balancing with internal builds

  • Hands-On Building: Work alongside engineering to build out prototype and production-grade systems, leverage industry-leading tools and technical skills to ship continuously

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge technical and commercial teams, gathering technical requirements while ensuring solutions deliver real business value

  • Ongoing Enablement: Communicate enhancements to revenue teams and encourage adoption through continuous learning, act as an internal advocate for AI adoption

  • ROI Measurement: Track and optimize the pipeline and revenue impact of AI and automation implementations across GTM

Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a technical commercial role (sales engineer, technical account manager or similar) and/or a growth engineer or product manager role with exposure to GTM systems

  • Demonstrated experience building AI workflows, automation, or product solutions—you can show examples of what you've shipped and the impact it created

  • Strong product management instincts and systems thinking: you naturally see how pieces fit together and can design elegant solutions

  • Genuine passion for GTM engineering and the future of AI-driven selling

  • High bias to action and ownership mentality: you ship quickly, iterate based on feedback, and take projects from 0 to 1

  • Excellent communication skills: you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements from diverse teams

  • Technical skills (familiarity with coding concepts, familiarity with SQL and scripting languages, familiarity with low-code tools)

  • Understanding of B2B sales processes and metrics

  • Must be located in New York or San Francisco

Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools

  • Experience with modern sales automation tools and AI agents

  • Power user experience with Notion

  • Background in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales enablement

  • Experience launching new teams or new initiatives

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
