Unleash AI Innovators, Securely

Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it.

Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.

Job Summary

As a Lead GSI Director at Snyk, you will own and grow our relationships with strategic Global System Integrator (GSI) partners, with Accenture as your primary partner. These partners shape how the world's largest enterprises adopt DevSecOps and secure AI-driven development, and you will make Snyk their default choice for developer security. You will turn partner relationships into sourced and influenced pipeline, joint solutions, and closed business across regions, acting as the connector between partner leadership and Snyk's global field teams.

About the Team

You will join the Global System Integrator team within Snyk's Global Alliances organization, whose mission is to accelerate adoption of Snyk technology and services with and through GSI partners. The team works in close partnership with regional Alliances teams, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing to build SI activity into the broader Alliances landscape alongside cloud, ISV, and channel partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute the strategic global partner plan for Accenture, your primary partner, and for any additional GSIs in your portfolio, aligning regional efforts to one global strategy.

  • Drive sourced and influenced pipeline globally with your partners, setting clear targets and holding joint business plans to them.

  • Partner with regional Alliances leaders to build SI activity into the overall Alliances landscape and value proposition alongside cloud, ISV, and channel.

  • Engage and support Snyk's field sales teams worldwide in pursuit of joint business with SI partners, acting as the connector between partner and Snyk account teams.

  • Initiate, develop, and grow relationships with partner executives and with field, practice, and technical leaders in key verticals and territories.

  • Position Snyk as the stated or de facto DevSecOps and digital transformation vendor of choice for developer security, and coordinate joint solution creation that supports partner solution build efforts.

  • Adapt and execute existing joint business plans across territories, and contribute to future iterations.

  • Keep global and regional teams aligned on both the Snyk and SI partner sides.

  • Shape joint value propositions, positioning, and go-to-market messaging for sales enablement and field training.

  • Work with Snyk Marketing to build enablement and integrated communications plans for key SI partner and Snyk field audiences, including best practices, wins, references, and use cases.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of direct GSI experience, either working for a GSI or managing GSI partners for an ISV.

  • Deep knowledge of the cloud native and/or security GSI landscape, with a track record of building, executing, and accelerating pipeline and sales with strategic global partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to get things done through an organizational matrix and high-performing cross-functional groups.

  • Independent self-starter who can manage and successfully grow multiple partners at once.

  • Strong networking, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including comfort with partner executives.

  • Project management ability, strategic and critical thinking, and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to adapt to different business cultures and work across regions and time zones.

  • Working fluency with AI-assisted tools (such as Claude or Gemini) to research accounts, draft plans, and prepare partner and field communications.

  • Nice to have: experience in cybersecurity, application security, or developer tooling, and an existing relationship network at Accenture.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
