About Love Mobile

Love Mobile is a community‑focused mobile telecommunications company on a mission to give back. Launched in beta in Tulsa, OK, we blend modern network services with meaningful social impact, investing a portion of every customer’s spend back into local schools, shelters, and skill‑building initiatives. As we scale our website, PWA, and native‑feeling apps, we need a hands‑on technologist who can build the features our customers want today and lay the foundation for tomorrow’s innovations.

What You’ll Do
  • Build & maintain our digital front ends:

  • Develop responsive, interactive web experiences (React, Vue, or Angular) and Progressive Web Apps.

  • Extend into React Native or Flutter for “app‑store” installs.

  • Design & integrate APIs:

  • Architect, document, and secure RESTful or GraphQL services (Node.js/Python).

  • Connect with third‑party platforms (payment gateways, CRMs, SMS/voice providers).

  • Stand up AI‑powered bots:

  • Build and maintain conversational chat and voice bots (Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework).

  • Implement tier‑1 support automation and seamless escalation to live reps via Twilio/other telephony.

  • Targeted messaging & ad‑tech:

  • Integrate with ad‑generator APIs (Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Marketing API, or custom DSPs).

  • Segment users and send personalized push notifications (FCM, APNs, web‑push) and in‑app messages.

  • Measure & iterate:

  • Instrument analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and run A/B tests.

  • Monitor performance, optimize load times (service workers, code‑splitting, WebP images), and ensure 99.9% uptime.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven Experience (2–5 years):

  • Hands‑on building full‑stack applications, designing and integrating APIs, and/or implementing marketing‑tech workflows.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Front‑end: JavaScript/TypeScript with React (or Vue/Angular), CSS Grid/Flexbox, responsive design.

  • Backend/API: Node.js (Express/Koa) or Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), OAuth/JWT, database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Conversational AI: Intent/entity modeling, dialog flow design, voice integrations (Twilio, Amazon Connect).

  • Ad‑tech & Automation: Calling marketing APIs, user segmentation, push/in‑app messaging.

  • DevOps Basics: Docker, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 deployments.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Clear communicator, customer‑centric mindset, comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.

  • Legal Requirement:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice‑to‑Haves
  • Familiarity with large‑language models (OpenAI, Anthropic).

  • Exposure to MVNO/MVNE telecom ecosystems.

  • Experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier, n8n).

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Impact: Every line of code powers devices in our community—and funds local schools, shelters, and job‑training programs.

  • Growth: Wear multiple hats in a lean team and shape the product roadmap as we scale.

  • Perks: Competitive salary, flexible schedule, professional development budget, health benefits, and volunteer day

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
