About Vantage

Vantage is the financial control plane for infrastructure cost management. The infrastructure stack is rapidly changing as companies leverage cloud, SaaS and increasing AI vendors to run their companies. As a result there’s a need for these companies to better allocate, govern and forecast costs using a platform like Vantage.

Our platform is used first and foremost by developers who have been empowered to be held responsible for infrastructure efficiency but done in partnership with finance and FinOps teams. We provide engineering, finance, and FinOps teams with the tools they need to make informed decisions about their cloud infrastructure and ultimately their business.

We're a fast-growing, remote-first company building products for some of the most innovative technology companies in the world.

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Growth Marketing Manager to help redefine how marketing operates at Vantage.

We're taking an AI-first approach to marketing, leveraging AI agents, assistants (we use Grok Bot) and automation to execute campaigns, generate pipeline, scale outbound efforts, and streamline marketing operations. We've already started building AI-powered workflows across demand generation, RevOps, social media, and outbound prospecting, and we're looking for someone who can take these capabilities to the next level.

This isn't a traditional marketing role focused on manually executing campaigns. We're looking for a growth hacker mentality who is excited about building, experimenting with, and managing AI-powered marketing systems to drive pipeline. You'll be tasked with managing a team of agents to optimize campaigns, analyze data, experiment and make daily iterations to optimize campaigns and corresponding budgets. The north star success metric is ultimately the amount of pipeline that is generated for our sales team. While you’ll have support from product, sales and operations colleagues, this will be a highly autonomous role where you’ll need to drive things forward yourself.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-driven marketer who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution, experimenting with emerging technologies, and building processes that allow a small team to have an outsized impact. This is a very unique role and we’re looking for a unique candidate to fill it. While traditional marketing experience is obviously welcome, it’s not required.

What You'll Do
  • Own AI-driven growth initiatives: Develop and execute strategies that leverage AI agents, automation, and experimentation to drive awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline.

  • Scale marketing automation: Build, manage, and continuously improve AI-powered workflows across demand generation, outbound prospecting, social media, and marketing operations.

  • Drive pipeline generation: Partner with Sales and RevOps to develop scalable campaigns, improve targeting and personalization, and optimize lead generation and conversion.

  • Build and optimize campaigns: Oversee AI-assisted campaign development, execution, testing, and optimization across multiple channels while maintaining brand quality and appropriate human oversight.

  • Support product positioning and go-to-market: Translate product capabilities, customer use cases, and competitive insights into compelling messaging and campaigns that resonate with technical buyers.

  • Experiment with emerging AI tools: Identify, test, and implement new AI technologies that improve marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Measure performance: Establish clear metrics for campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and the impact of AI-powered workflows.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Product, Sales, and RevOps to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business priorities and customer needs.

  • Continuously improve how we work: Challenge traditional marketing processes and identify opportunities to automate repetitive work, reduce manual effort, and increase output without sacrificing quality.

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS growth marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or a related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience building and implementing AI-powered workflows, agents, or marketing automation. Show us what you’ve built leveraging AI!

  • Demonstrated success driving measurable growth outcomes, including pipeline generation, campaign performance, or customer acquisition.

  • An MCP-first mindset. Expect to leverage platforms via AI systems vs you managing manually in consoles.

  • Comfort with working with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, Clay or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of modern marketing technology, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.

  • Ability to translate business objectives into automated workflows and measurable marketing programs.

  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to experiment, iterate, and make decisions informed by data.

  • Excellent written communication skills and an understanding of how to develop compelling messaging for technical audiences.

  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership.

  • A kind person

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing to developers, engineering leaders, cloud infrastructure teams, or FinOps professionals.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, GCP, or cloud cost management.

  • Experience building custom AI agents using LLMs, APIs, or orchestration platforms.

  • Experience implementing AI-powered outbound or account-based marketing programs.

  • Basic scripting or technical experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or APIs.

  • Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth B2B SaaS company.

  • A former founder.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
