We can promise you that, as a member of the Brightside team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate alongside smart and driven people while growing your professional skills.

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Creative Producer to fuel our performance marketing engine with a steady stream of high quality, insight-driven creative. You’ll partner closely with the performance growth marketing and creative teams to keep our content pipeline moving and our messaging sharp. This role includes both research and production; a portion of your time goes into understanding what makes our audience(s) unique, and the remainder goes into turning those insights into resourceful, high-performing assets. Ultimately, this role will help Brightside reach more people who need mental healthcare by making sure our creative resonates.

What you’ll be doing as Growth Marketing Creative Producer:

Research & Insights (25-50%)

  • Analyze the performance of existing creative to understand what is working and not working in the market
  • Track competitor messaging and creative trends across the behavioral health and broader DTC healthcare landscape
  • Mine intake data and free-text fields for language, pain points, and patterns that can directly inform creative
  • Stay plugged into social media trends and platform shifts (TikTok, Instagram, Reels, etc.) to spot what’s resonating in real time
  • Build and refine audience archetypes, personas, and segments to guide performance marketing direction

Asset Production (50-75%)

  • Translate research and audience insights into creative briefs and concepts
  • Produce a steady cadence of 5–10 new assets per week across formats including video, UGC-style content, static, and more
  • Use AI tools and other modern production tools to move fast without sacrificing quality
  • Manage multiple deliverables at once, prioritizing based on performance data and business needs
  • Partner with performance marketing to test, iterate, and double down on what’s working

Requirements:

  • 3+ years focused on content marketing specifically, including hands-on experience overseeing organic social and other owned content channels
  • Bring a pragmatic mindset, caring more about performance and resonance than polish for polish's sake
  • Roll up your sleeves as a genuine doer who gets things done
  • Use AI and other modern tools to produce creative work efficiently
  • Stay genuinely curious about people, including what motivates them, what resonates with them, and why
  • Bring hands-on creative production experience, such as video editing or content creation
  • Lean on data to guide creative decisions, pulling insights from surveys, intake data, and performance metrics
  • Manage complexity across multiple projects and formats while thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Care deeply about mental health and feel energized by mission-driven work that actually changes lives
  • Social media power user with a pulse on trends

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary and a performance-based bonus model
  • Stock options so you have equity
  • Fully paid for comprehensive health care (medical, dental, vision)
  • Pet Insurance
  • Life Insurance & Short / Long Term Disability
  • 401k Plan
  • Unlimited PTO and sick leave
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Work remotely and whatever schedule works best for you
  • Additional memberships and perks

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
