We’re Jubilee Media.

At Jubilee, we're on a mission to provoke understanding and create human connection. We explore experiences that push people to feel more, think more, and see more in others. We challenge the belief of a black-and-white world, and instead embrace the complexity and richness of our experiences. By magnifying these stories we can discover personal identities, shared truths, and how we fit in the overarching human story. People are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for the next passionate teammate to join us on this journey. Together, we have the power to shift perspectives—and maybe even change the world.

As Jubilee’s Growth Consultant, you’ll be responsible for scaling Nectar into the leading dating platform for Gen Z. You'll own the entire growth strategy across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization—driving both user growth and business performance.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role where you'll work closely with product, engineering, creative, marketing, and executive leadership to build a growth strategy and dating app experience that genuinely resonates with Gen-Z audiences and drive business success!
What You’ll Do:

  • Own and lead Nectar's growth strategy across user acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue
  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across paid social, search, influencer, affiliate, and emerging channels
  • Manage growth budgets and optimize CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates, and other key performance metrics
  • Design and run rapid growth experiments across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to identify and implement product-led growth opportunities
  • Optimize user journeys, subscription funnels, pricing strategies, and premium feature adoption
  • Build lifecycle marketing strategies across email, push notifications, CRM, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Establish growth analytics frameworks and leverage data to uncover insights, prioritize opportunities, and measure impact
  • Lead cross-functional growth initiatives and align stakeholders around company growth goals
  • Help shape Nectar's long-term growth vision as we scale the platform and expand its market presence

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, product growth, or consumer app leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling consumer products through a combination of paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and product-led growth
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, growth experimentation, conversion optimization, and growth analytics
  • Strong understanding of subscription businesses, monetization models, and customer lifecycle management
  • Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams to drive growth outcomes
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong instincts for identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills with experience influencing teams across marketing, product, engineering, and creative
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z audiences, internet culture, and consumer behavior
  • Passionate about building products that create meaningful connection and cultural impact
  • Experience working on social, community-driven, or dating apps is a major plus!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
