Job Summary:   As greenskeeper 1 you will help in the daily preparation of the golf course and maintain the high standards of Tahoe Mountain Club.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bunker maintenance
  • Clean up detail
  • Cart path maintenance
  • Weedeating and trimming
  • Flymowing
  • Walk mowing greens and tees
  • Fill divots
  • Topdressing
  • Shoveling and digging
  • Pull weeds
  • Rake pine needles and leaves
  • Pick up trash 

 

Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.

 

Reports to: Assistant Superintendent Supervises: No supervisory duties are required of this position.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Certificates/Licenses:

Previous greenskeeper experience preferred.


Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English or Spanish for instruction and understanding of safety procedures is required. Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Must display professional demeanor and communicate in professional language at all times.

 

Certificates/Licenses: Non-Supervisory Harassment Prevention Training, Workplace Viloence Preventions, Heat Illness Prevention and all other required onboarding checklists, orientations, and policy acknoweldgements must be completed within in first 30 days of hire.Non-Supervisory Harassment Prevention Training required within in first 30 days of hire.

 

Safety Training: Lock down tagout, fire extinguisher
