We are seeking a Graphics/Technical Designer to support the graphic and technical development of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel. This role will create and incorporate graphics, prints, and patterns into textile and garment designs while ensuring fit, construction, and quality meet brand standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design skills with knowledge of apparel construction and production. You will partner with Design and Production to develop artwork, tech packs, specifications, and production-ready garments from concept through final approval.
You must be based in or willing to commute to our office to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Create original graphics, prints, repeat patterns, typography, and placement artwork for apparel.
- Incorporate graphics into textile and garment designs while considering scale, placement, color, and fabric.
- Develop and maintain tech packs, spec sheets, grading rules, and measurement charts.
- Prepare production-ready artwork, colorways, Pantone references, and graphic placement guides.
- Lead fit sessions and communicate clear corrections to factories.
- Review prototypes, samples, strike-offs, graphic execution, construction, and workmanship.
- Communicate with overseas factories to resolve technical and artwork-related issues.
- Partner with Design and Production to balance creative direction with manufacturability.
- Maintain organized technical and graphic files throughout development and production.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of apparel graphic design, textile design, technical design, or related experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating apparel graphics, textile prints, patterns, and production-ready artwork.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, grading, fit, and apparel manufacturing
- Experience creating detailed tech packs, specifications, BOMs, and construction callouts.
- Knowledge of textile printing, graphic placement, color separations, and artwork scaling.
- Experience communicating with overseas factories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; Excel and PLM experience preferred.
