Role Overview
We are hiring our first Graphic Designer to join a growing design team). This is a junior–mid level role (3–5 years experience) focused on shaping how Revel visually communicates complex, technical ideas across a wide range of mediums.
This person will play a key role in evolving and executing our brand across marketing, product storytelling, and physical environments, with high ownership and visibility across the company.
What You’ll Do
- Create visual assets across slide decks, marketing materials, and brand collateral
- Design technical diagrams, data visualizations, and graphics that clearly communicate complex engineering concepts
- Translate abstract or highly technical ideas into clean, compelling visuals
- Contribute to and execute on an established brand identity
- Support print design (conference materials, signage, merchandise, etc.)
- Create and update visual assets for the website (Webflow)
- Contribute to video treatments and light motion/visual storytelling work
- Partner closely with product designers to ensure consistency across product and brand surfaces
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in graphic or visual design
- Experience working with or supporting technical, engineering-driven teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Technical or diagram-based design work
- Ability to simplify complex concepts visually
- Strong typography and layout skills
- High attention to detail and brand consistency
- Experience across both digital and print mediums
- Proficiency with:
- Figma
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Google Slides and/or PowerPoint
- Ability to work within and extend an existing brand system
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with 3D design, animation, or motion graphics
- Basic video editing experience
- Exposure to Webflow or light web development
- Background in hard tech industries (aerospace, defense, robotics, etc.)
