💼 The Role
We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to work with our Marketing and Design teams on enhancing our current graphics and creating new graphic assets for our library. A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a startup environment and is passionate about design and innovative technology. This role will start part-time (10-20 hours/week) with the opportunity to transition to full-time as you grow with our company.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative team on graphic assets scalable for iOS, web, and marketing materials
- Interpret and define brand guidelines across various marketing collateral (emails, digital/print flyers, banners, social media, etc) , ensuring consistent visual identity
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Creative team to conceptualize fresh ideas for informational, educational, and marketing content
- Transform complex concepts into visually engaging and accessible designs
Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC
- A strong grasp of graphic design principles including hierarchy, typography, color theory, and composition
- Knowledge of image formats, resolution requirements, and file preparation for various platforms
- Ability to function in a startup environment, comfort with ambiguity and change, and a can-do attitude
- Ability to work through multiple iterations of each project and stay open to feedback
- Ability to apply branding to UI/UX design, presentation decks, and merchandise
Preferred
- Experience creating graphics for sports brands and/or tech startups
- Understanding of the tennis & pickleball market and terminology
Bonus
- Experience with motion graphics
- Avid user of the SwingVision app
- Passion for Racket Sports or Artificial Intelligence
