The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and creating MTB, MX & Lifestyle apparel graphics. All product designed will reflect Revelyst design philosophy and standards as the leader in the MTB, MX & UTV landscape. Duties include full ownership of the design process for assigned projects while working in conjunction with the Design Leadership to fill and expand upon the ideas required to complete the line plan.
This key role will have a full understanding of current trends, colors, and fabrics within the performance categories through market travel and research. This role will be responsible for following through with their design from inception, handing off a final detailed tech packs to the product development team and insuring salesman samples are complete and on time. The Designer will participate in fittings and art reviews to ensure that all tech packs are consistently updated as designs change and often occur. This role will be responsible for researching trends and technologies that will create both technical and fashion innovation.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Graphics & Color and is based out of our Irvine office.
As the Graphic Designer, you will have an opportunity to:
Collaborate on technical design, prototyping, and finalization of MTB, MX & UTV performance apparel and accessories.
Research market trends and sources of inspiration to drive innovation in design (focus on breathability, mobility, durability, moisture management, water resistance).
Partner with design teams across MTB, MX & Lifestyle to ensure brand alignment and strong product vision.
Understand and apply engineered artwork to technical apparel patterns.
Provide clear design direction, manage timelines, and communicate effectively across teams.
Participate in design meetings, line presentations, and management reviews.
Align product designs with brand identity and business goals (revenue and margin targets).
Ensure timely delivery of complete technical packages and finalized artwork.
Present design concepts and project status to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Gather and communicate feedback constructively within the team.
Travel to overseas factories as needed to oversee design development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve product performance and identify innovation opportunities.
Research and propose new materials and construction techniques.
Develop multi-season product evolution strategies and innovation roadmaps.
Review prototypes and participate in fit sessions to ensure product quality and performance.
Assist in creating line plans, design calendars, and managing seasonal workflows.
Demonstrate passion for designing compelling, cutting-edge products.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in product or graphic design, preferably in hardgoods or action sports.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of 3D surfaces and how graphics interact with molded forms.
Experience creating tech packs and working with overseas vendors.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Passion for action sports and performance gear.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and personalities.
You might have:
Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot).
Familiarity with helmet safety standards and protective gear regulations.
Prior experience designing for MX, MTB, or UTV categories.

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $61,000.00 - $85,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
