Government Contracts Manager

Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity

needs of the commercial enterprise users and government users. We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Business and government customers have contracts with agreed-upon performance standards for their broadband, and Logos will build these capabilities into the system from the beginning. Speed and reliability are the foundation of the system. Logos is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.

Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers and other professionals with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Federal Business team at Logos Space builds and maintains relationships with U.S. Government customers, particularly in the national security sector. As the Government Contracts Manager, your job is to monitor Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), lead the proposal process, manage contract administration, build out a government contract lifecycle management system, and oversee both classified and unclassified government contract compliance. Critically, the systems and processes you put in place must scale with where Logos is now and where it is headed as a fast-growing startup.

You should be prepared to work and thrive in a fast-moving environment where you are comfortable building business and compliance processes from the ground up and scaling them in response to a fast-growing business. We are seeking people who love a challenge!

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing the government contract pipeline, including monitoring RFIs and RFPs, leading the proposal process, and administering ongoing contracts

  • Responsible for implementing a government contract lifecycle management system

  • Responsible for tracking and managing government contract compliance obligations for both classified and unclassified contracts

  • As the workload scales, this role will lead a team of government contract professionals taking on different aspects of the portfolio

Basic Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing unclassified and classified U.S. Government contracts

  • Detailed knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the National Industrial Security Policy Operating Manual (NISPOM)

  • TS/SCI security clearance active within the past year

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills - We are looking for leader

Preferred Qualifications
  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) experience

  • Startup experience

Estimated Base Salary

  • $170,000- 200,000 per year

  • Your level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
