  • Work closely with business units, corporate creative, and governance resources on the global marketing, communications, and brand teams, to align on the best content and messaging for our talent audiences
  • Be the employer branding storyteller for the company – you'll be a business partner with talent and other HR leaders, in-office and off-site teams, and employees all over the world, to tell the story of life at Dematic
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to observe job openings and applicant flow, proactively providing support for low applicant volume, especially for critical roles
  • Lead larger talent acquisition projects such as career site content updates, crafting new digital and print assets for recruiting usage, and building EVP-related messaging platforms for recruiters and hiring managers

  • This team is relatively new, and we’re still in the learning phase. You will learn from everything we do, so we can make more informed and effective choices

What we are looking for:

  • 5 years of experience in marketing, talent acquisition (with experience in advertising jobs), or talent marketing.
  • Experience with content creation – we want to expand our social footprint, run engaging campaigns, and enable our talent teams.
  • You have experience with storytelling through interviews, blogs, shorts, reels, etc. Our job is not to build the story, but to tell the story.
  • You're not a Recruiter, but you have a proven understanding of the recruiting process. You are business partners with Talent Acquisition team and walk side by side with them.
  • Experience with lead generation is a plus – we need to show success through converting leads to applicants.
  • Military equivalent experience is always accepted.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, based at one of our offices in Atlanta, GA; Grand Rapids, MI; Milwaukee, WI; or Plano (Dallas), TX."
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Dematic will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
