Our Ambition

We’re building a world-class supply chain.

As a trusted partner across distribution, logistics, and trade, we enable smarter, faster decisions that improve service, efficiency, and cost. We don’t just report performance—we shape it. We don’t just analyze data—we influence outcomes.

Within ResMed’s Global Supply Chain, the Global Operations Performance & Analytics function is a cornerstone of the business’s success. This team provides the foundation for how we monitor, understand, and elevate operational performance through data — helping drive growth, enable agility, and deliver margin improvement.

It’s a fast-paced, dynamic environment where diverse perspectives, creative problem-solving, and data-driven thinking are valued. Here, analytics is more than numbers — it’s about turning insight into impact.

Role Purpose

As the Global Supply Chain Analytics Manager, you will be the insight engine for ResMed’s global distribution, logistics, and trade operations. This high-impact, highly visible role combines strategic leadership with technical depth.

You will lead a global team of analysts across AMER, EMEA, and APAC to translate complex data into meaningful insights, build scalable analytical tools, and empower operational teams to make informed, smart decisions.

You’ll be at the heart of our global operations ecosystem, influencing decisions, shaping strategy, and elevating our analytical maturity. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, connect insights to outcomes, and drive measurable business impact across the supply chain organization.

Let’s Talk About Key Responsibilities

1. Insight Leadership & Strategic Influence

  • Own the global distribution, logistics, and trade reporting portfolio – helping to manage our global data ecosystem along with the dashboards and tools that we provide to the business.
  • Lead analytical initiatives that uncover performance trends, root causes, and opportunities across global distribution, logistics, and trade operations.
  • Partner with regional and global operations leaders to embed insights into strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Craft and communicate the operations performance narrative — translating data into stories that influence executive forums and drive alignment.

2. People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead and develop a global team of analysts across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Build analytical confidence and storytelling capability within the team and across the operations community.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion diversity of thought and new ways of working.

3. Performance Visibility & Decision Support

  • Design and maintain intuitive dashboards and KPIs that provide real-time visibility into key operational metrics (e.g., delivery performance, logistics costs, lead time variability, distribution metrics, etc).
  • Lead the governance of operations metrics, ensuring consistency, data quality, and alignment across global regions.
  • Collaborate with digital and BI teams to enhance data architecture, pipelines, and visualization tools.

4. Advanced Analytics & Scenario Modelling

  • Develop models and simulations that optimize logistics networks, transportation performance, and trade flows.
  • Use diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Automate recurring analyses, freeing capacity for strategic insight generation.

5. Transformation & Agile Enablement

  • Embed analytics into global transformation programs and digital initiatives.
  • Act as the voice of insight in new system implementations and process redesigns
  • Lead the team using agile methodologies — managing backlogs, prioritizing sprints, and aligning resources with business value.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
