About Hammerspace, Inc.

Hammerspace delivers a Global Data Environment that spans data centers, AWS, Azure, and Google cloud infrastructure. With origins in Linux, NFS, Open standards, Flash and deep file system and data management technology leadership, Hammerspace delivers the world’s first and only solution to connect global users with their data and applications on any existing data center infrastructure or AWS, Azure, and Google cloud services.

About the Role

Hammerspace is seeking a senior, customer-facing Global Enterprise AI Sales Executive to accelerate adoption of the Hammerspace NVIDIA AI Data Platform (AIDP) with large enterprise customers worldwide. This is a quota-carrying specialist role that partners with regional Account Executives, NVIDIA, OEMs, systems integrators, and strategic partners to identify, develop, and close transformational AI data-platform opportunities.

The Executive will position Hammerspace as the data foundation for enterprise AI—making distributed, unstructured data across on-premises, cloud, edge, and heterogeneous storage environments accessible, governed, searchable, and ready for AI. The focus includes Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise search, agentic AI, AI copilots, knowledge management, research assistants, model development, inference, and AI data pipelines.

The successful candidate combines enterprise hunting discipline, executive-level business acumen, and credible AI-infrastructure fluency. They engage business-unit leaders, CIO/CTO organizations, AI Centers of Excellence, data and application teams, and ecosystem partners to move initiatives from discovery and business case through proof of value and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own global strategy, qualified pipeline, forecast accuracy, and revenue execution for Hammerspace Enterprise AI and NVIDIA AIDP opportunities.

• Partner with regional Account Executives and sales leadership to prioritize target accounts, identify funded AI initiatives and buying centers, develop account plans, and orchestrate complex pursuits through close.

• Create demand by engaging AI, data, application, and line-of-business leaders to uncover business problems, high-value data assets, and AI use cases where Hammerspace creates measurable outcomes.

• Lead executive discovery, value-engineering conversations, workshops, solution briefings, and proof-of-value plans that connect data accessibility, governance, performance, and time-to-production to customer business priorities.

• Position the combined value of Hammerspace, NVIDIA, and ecosystem solutions; articulate differentiation against alternative data-platform, AI-infrastructure, storage, and point-solution approaches.

• Guide opportunities from concept through technical validation, RFI/RFP response, proposal development, commercial negotiation, and production adoption; coordinate sales, technical, services, product, and partner resources.

• Work with NVIDIA field teams, solution architects, OEMs, cloud and technology partners, systems integrators, and channel partners to develop joint account strategies, co-sell motions, and demand-generation initiatives.

• Build compelling customer business cases that define expected outcomes, data and infrastructure requirements, adoption path, risks, TCO/ROI considerations, and success measures from proof of concept to scaled production.

• Maintain rigorous opportunity qualification, mutual action plans, competitive positioning, next steps, and executive-sponsor alignment using Hammerspace sales methodology and CRM discipline.

• Develop repeatable global plays, qualification criteria, customer stories, and use-case messaging; enable sellers and partners on Enterprise AI positioning, discovery, competitive differentiation, and NVIDIA-related opportunities.

• Represent Hammerspace at customer meetings, executive briefings, NVIDIA events, partner engagements, and industry conferences; communicate market feedback to product, marketing, and leadership teams.

Required Experience

-MUST BE BASED IN US.

• 10+ years of enterprise technology sales, business development, or specialist-sales experience, with a sustained record of creating pipeline, closing complex opportunities, and exceeding revenue objectives.

• Meaningful experience selling Enterprise Data Storage , AI, Generative AI, data platforms, AI infrastructure, GPU computing, enterprise storage, cloud, or adjacent solutions to large end-user organizations and individual business units.

• Demonstrated ability to originate and advance new AI initiatives from early-stage discovery through proof of concept or proof of value, commercial close, and production deployment.

• Strong working knowledge of enterprise AI concepts and architectures, including GenAI and LLMs, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, enterprise search, agentic AI, inference, model development, data pipelines, GPUs, and AI infrastructure.

• Proven success navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving business sponsors, technical evaluators, procurement, security, legal, and executive decision-makers.

• Ability to translate technical capabilities into a business case with measurable value, including productivity, risk reduction, data access, speed to insight, operational efficiency, and time to production.

• Experience collaborating in a matrixed specialist-sales model with field Account Executives, sales engineers, professional services, marketing, product teams, and channel or alliance partners.

• Exceptional executive communication, discovery, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and account-planning skills.

• Ability to operate independently across global geographies, coordinate virtual pursuit teams, and travel internationally as required.

Preferred Background

Experience selling solutions involving one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• NVIDIA Enterprise AI technologies and the NVIDIA field and partner ecosystem

• Generative AI, Large Language Models, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• AI infrastructure, GPU computing, HPC, AI storage, or AI development and inference platforms

• Enterprise data platforms, unstructured data management, data discovery, governance, vector databases, semantic search, or enterprise search

• Joint go-to-market development with cloud providers, OEMs, systems integrators, resellers, or strategic technology partners

• Structured enterprise sales methodologies and value-selling disciplines, including qualification, mutual action planning, and executive business-case development

The Opportunity

Enterprise AI programs often stall because the data that creates their value remains fragmented across storage systems, clouds, locations, and organizational silos. Hammerspace enables customers to bring AI to their data—without replacing existing storage infrastructure or undertaking massive data migrations. In partnership with NVIDIA and the broader ecosystem, Hammerspace helps enterprises discover, organize, access, govern, and use distributed data for the next generation of AI applications.

The Global Enterprise AI Sales Executive will turn this differentiated opportunity into a scalable global business, shaping strategic customer outcomes and establishing Hammerspace as the AI data platform of choice for the

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
