The Business Strategy Team for Developer  is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of our Developer / GitHub business, coordinating teams across sales, engineering, finance, marketing and device partners. Essential for advancing Agentic success, This role manages long-term plans, spots areas for growth, and navigates challenges. By harmonizing product and partner opportunities, the role supports the development of innovative solutions, business models and the modernization of established business practices, playing a key role in our overall AI growth strategy.  

The role is responsible for:
Driving strategic direction and execution for a business area.
Coordinating across sales, engineering, finance, marketing, and partners.
Identifying growth opportunities and long-term plans.
Leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Influencing senior leadership decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned to organisational goals.
  • Analyse market dynamics and competitive trends.
  • Create strategic narratives and planning materials.
  • Lead business planning and strategic initiatives end-to-end.
  • Align stakeholders across engineering, marketing, finance, business planning, partners, and sales teams.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
