Position Overview:

Responsible for accurately processing complex gifts and pledges and completing adjustments received through the Sutter Health philanthropic foundations. Updates biographical data in appropriate database and assist in coordinating and maintaining office activities related to the recording of gifts, pledges, resolving problems, and responding to a variety of inquiries from departments, and donors.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

TYPICAL EXPERENCE:

  • 1 year recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services such as customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle public contact, confidential information and maintain effective work-flow systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Motivated, as well as flexible, adaptable and able to maintain a positive attitude while navigating a large, complex, rapidly changing organization, and while positioning others for success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to understand and speak to the technical aspects of the work, and translate that language to mission-driven fundraisers.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently, under pressure, while juggling multiple requests and competing deadlines.

Pay Range is $27.85 to $38.99 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
