We are seeking a General Counsel to oversee all legal matters for the firm, particularly to handle complex, large scale acquisitions and to oversee litigation worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all legal aspects of acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating asset and share purchase agreements, and all aspects of due diligence.
- Manage disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including asset and share purchase agreements and software licensing agreements.
- Represent the company in negotiations and discussions.
- 15+ years of legal experience in M&A and litigation
- Proven track record of handling complex acquisitions and litigation.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially in the software sector.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and mentoring legal teams is a plus.
