What you'll do:
Our focus at AmeriHome is delivering excellence in lending, whether directly to consumers or by providing liquidity to the mortgage industry. AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Closing Manager to join our growing Consumer Direct Division
- Ensures quality and compliance of docs and funding associates with company policies, procedures, and investor guidelines
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of company and regulatory changes that affect the funding process
- Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of mortgage, closing and funding guidelines
- Assists in development and implementation of formal and informal training programs
- Develop and maintains clear guidelines of department workflow
- Excellent knowledge of the mortgage closing process and TRID requirement
- Takes ownership in resolving loan level issues with the team
- Ensures there is communication and follow up, keeping all stakeholders up to date
- Assists departmental staff when necessary
- Maintains highly confidential information regarding loan applicants and employees
What you'll need:
- 5 years in a supervisory or management experience with a minimum of 7 years in the position of funder/closer
- Conventional and Government loan experience required including streamlines and IRRRLs
- Encompass Experience mandatory
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Requires organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with ease
- Ability to work in a high pressure and high-volume environment
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $80,390.00 - $99,306.67 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $80,390.00 - $99,306.67 for Irvine, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
