About the role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Bloom Growth, you will design, build, and evolve the systems that power our web-based platform. You’ll work across the stack—from React and TypeScript frontend experiences to C# backend services—delivering scalable, reliable solutions that support our customers and continued growth. You’ll take ownership of features from design through delivery, contribute to technical decisions, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design to solve meaningful customer and business problems.


What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain features across our React and TypeScript frontend and C# backend systems
  • Own features through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement
  • Design and develop APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Write and optimize MySQL queries and contribute to database design and performance improvements
  • Implement caching strategies and monitor application health using AWS tools
  • Identify technical challenges, evaluate solutions, and contribute to architectural and technical decisions
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and collaborative problem-solving across the engineering team
  • Partner with Product and Design to translate customer and business needs into high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to code quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of full stack or backend software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in C# and experience with React and TypeScript
  • Experience designing and developing APIs and production web applications
  • Experience with MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
  • Experience working with AWS or similar cloud environments and application monitoring tools
  • Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, and collaborative development workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver features from development through release
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
Preferred:
  • Experience with background job processing tools such as Hangfire or similar
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks such as Entity Framework or NHibernate
  • Experience using AI development tools to improve engineering workflows
  • Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) or Business-to-Business (B2B) product environment
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000–$130,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Bloom Growth™ follows an equitable, market-aligned compensation philosophy to ensure fairness and consistency across our fully remote team.

Location Eligibility

This role is open to candidates permanently residing in the United States, excluding California and New York. Bloom Growth adjusts compensation based on geographic market data to maintain internal equity.
