Full-Stack Engineer: Work Directly with the CTO (Hybrid)

Tolt is a platform that enables software companies to launch affiliate programs. The platform provides all the key elements needed to successfully launch and manage the program, such as payments, referral tracking, fraud protection, an affiliate portal, and many other features.

We are still in the early stages, but we have received investments from LAUNCH and Jason Calacanis, and we are working with over 500 exciting startups, such as Prisma.io, Speak.com, OpenArt.ai and Vapi.ai, which are currently generating over $1.5 million in additional monthly revenue through affiliate marketing with Tolt.

The entire platform was built by our CTO, two front-end engineers, and ChatGPT. We have big plans and goals for 2025, which is why we need two full-stack TypeScript software engineers who will work on everything.

Since we are still in the early stages, we need scrappy engineers who will ship features every day. We are a backend-heavy software company, which means that you will spend most of your day working on backend (node/aws) rather than on other things.

Overall, you’ll work side-by-side with the CTO, taking ownership of key features and driving the platform’s evolution.

As a Full Stack Engineer at Tolt, you will:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, showcasing your ability to write clean and efficient code.

• OR just 1 year of working experience on a SaaS product 🚀.

• Expertise in Vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript and React (frontend) paired with Node.js (backend).

• Knowledge of popular frameworks/libraries like Next.js, Knex, Tailwind

• Proficient in creating complex backend features.

• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.

• Comfortable using monitoring and error tracking tools (e.g., Bugsnag) and performing end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress).

• Founder-like mindset: You're proactive, and articulate, enjoy brainstorming new ideas, and thrive on using user feedback to deliver outstanding results.
