FlowX.AI is an agentic AI platform for large-scale, mission-critical applications. We started in regulated industries - banking and insurance - and have successfully landed major deals in government and defense. We're now expanding into new verticals including logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and construction.

Our platform enables large organizations to deploy, run, and monitor mission-critical AI agents at scale. We provide the governance layers and robustness that AI agents need to operate reliably across the most important business processes.

Mission

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to play a key role in driving our growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities.

You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to connect with potential clients, understand their challenges, and position our solutions as a fit for their needs.

This is a high-impact role for someone who is curious, driven, and eager to contribute to the success of our go-to-market strategy.

What you will do on a daily basis

  • Identify and research potential clients and market segments to generate new business opportunities.
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn to initiate meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business challenges, priorities, and fit with our solution.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls or demos for the sales team (Account Executives).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM, ensuring a predictable and high-quality sales pipeline.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience as an BDR / SDR, ideally in B2B software or tech - though we value attitude and grit over industry background.
  • Native Slovenian (Serbian / Croatian / Bosnian) and excellent written and spoken English — you are often the first impression we make.
  • Have strong client-facing experience and are confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Systems fluency: you pick up new tools quickly, keep your CRM spotless, and know how to find information without being told where to look.
  • Enjoy working in fast-paced, flexible environments where strategy is ever-changing.
  • Strong organizational instincts: you manage multiple leads at different stages without dropping threads, independently and across time zones.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise tech, or agentic AI.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other sales engagement platforms (Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, etc.).
  • Interest in agentic AI, workflow automation, or enterprise process transformation.
  • Additional languages beyond English (German, Italian, Spanish, French).

What's in it for you

  • Experience in building the go-to-market backbone of a fast-scaling AI company.
  • Direct impact on how the company scales and delivers multi-million-dollar enterprise transformation deals.
  • An early-stage equity package, competitive salary, and accelerators on commission.
  • Opportunity to take on cross-functional work and grow into Account Executive or Customer Success roles.

Location: Slovenia (preferred), Bosnia, Serbia, or Macedonia

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
