As a Full Stack Engineer on the Platform Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling enterprise applications. You will create applications, tools, and frameworks to automate critical business processes, as well as frontends that enable business users to manage those processes effectively. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, AWS, and SQL, and be comfortable participating in discussions about data architecture, scalability, and performance. Joining as an early member of a new team, your contributions will have a significant impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenges and has experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This position can be remote.Ideal candidates must be comfortable working EST hours.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable backend services primarily using Python
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines
  • Collaborate with product teams to shape requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions
  • Contribute to the frontend development with React.js or Vue.js (approx. 30% of the time)
  • Ensure responsive and user-friendly UI/UX across platforms
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS
  • Participate in infrastructure discussions, best practices, and cost optimization
  • Participate in data architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity
  • Collaborate with the data team to integrate analytics solutions and facilitate business intelligence
  • Integrate with Snowflake data warehouses and Tableau Cloud environments
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and business processes
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency through automation tools and frameworks
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Design) to drive product roadmaps and timelines

What You Have: 

  • 4+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Python for backend services and scripting
  • Solid SQL skills with experience in complex queries, performance tuning, and database design
  • Hands-on AWS experience (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
  • Experience building enterprise-level applications in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles and experience participating in technical discussions around data and scalability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Experience with React.js or Vue.js for frontend development
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or other modern data warehousing technologies
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI/analytics tools
  • Previous experience in business process automation initiatives
  • Proven track record in early-stage startups, comfortable wearing multiple hats

What We Offer: 

The annual base salary range for this position is from $115,000 to $140,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
