Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain web applications that power key components of our platform — including data dashboards, secure portals, relational databases, and responsive user interfaces. This role works closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, and clinical project leads) to deliver high-impact solutions that improve access to healthcare services for students and families.


This position is a Hybrid role, between our office in Corona and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using PHP, JavaScript (and related frameworks), HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Build clean, maintainable, and efficient APIs and backend services.
  • Implement responsive, accessible front-end features that enhance user experience across devices.
  • Integrate with 3rd-party services and internal systems (e.g., payment systems, EHR/medical integration, authentication providers).
  • Participate in technical architecture reviews and recommend best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Write unit and integration tests; collaborate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
  • Document solutions, technical decisions, and application workflows.
  • Partner with product owners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • PHP (e.g., Zend, W3Schools, or vendor-specific)
  • JavaScript (such as a recognized JS certification/credential)
  • HTML/CSS (front-end or web development certifications)
  • SQL / Database Development (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL University)
  • Strong experience with modern full-stack development using open-source and RESTful principles.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and SQL query optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance and security.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards or security (HIPAA-aligned development practices).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum working environments.
