This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a part-time, 100% remote Front End Web Developer (SEO Implementation Specialist) to join their team. This company is a recognized leader in the digital marketing space, having significantly expanded their impact and service offerings over the past few years. In this role, you will be the technical bridge, implementing critical SEO and web enhancements directly on client websites to boost their online performance and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Execute front-end updates and styling refinements on various CMS platforms, including WordPress, Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace, ensuring all edits are responsive, accessible, and align with client branding.

  • Optimize landing pages and blog content by integrating target keywords, updating metadata, structuring headers, and implementing internal linking strategies for maximum SEO impact.

  • Implement technical SEO improvements, such as schema markup, nofollow directives, image compression, and site speed enhancements, while troubleshooting issues like broken links and canonical errors.

  • Collaborate with their internal SEO team to clarify project scopes, provide updates, and incorporate feedback, maintaining proactive communication throughout.

  • Uphold accessibility and UX best practices in all web edits, including adding alt text and ensuring navigation clarity and mobile usability.

  • Document all changes, maintain version control, and provide clear summaries of edits and their SEO rationale in weekly or project-based logs.



Requirements
  • This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) and is 100% remote.

  • Must be available for regular virtual interaction and occasional flexible scheduling to accommodate time zone differences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).

  • Strong, practical understanding of technical SEO best practices, including schema, canonicalization, and site speed optimization.

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace, including experience with page builders like Elementor.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within a project management tool like Asana.

  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
