We are looking for an analytical, results-driven front-end developer who will work with our team to develop new digital marketing tools to support new and existing clients. The front-end developer will use his or her understanding of design principles and programming languages to optimize the user experience, develop and maintain the user interface, implement the design, and create tools to improve site interaction. You should have excellent communication, computer, and project management skills.

To succeed as a front-end developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. You should be knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.

This is a full-time in-house position at our office in Boise, Idaho.

Frontend Developer Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build reusable and scalable code
  • Collaborating with the back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  • Taking the lead on projects, as needed

Frontend Developer Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting, Javascript, React (preferred), and jQuery
  • Strong knowledge of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • UI/UX design experience
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
  • Familiar with WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and BigCommerce engineering architectures
