About the Role

Saatchi Art is looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused CRM Coordinator to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Manager, Loyalty & Retention to bring CRM campaigns to life across email and SMS — from initial brief through final send.

You’ll help keep our campaign calendar organized and on track, ensuring that creative assets, copy, audiences, and approvals are coordinated and delivered on time. You’ll also be responsible for building, testing, and launching campaigns with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the craft of CRM execution, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign briefing process, partnering with marketing, creative, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure campaigns are properly scoped and approved before production.
  • Maintain campaign timelines and proactively manage milestones to ensure creative assets, copy, approvals, and other inputs are delivered on schedule.
  • Build and launch email campaigns, flows, and automations within our ESP, Klaviyo.
  • Build and launch SMS campaigns, flows, and automations within Attentive.
  • Upload and organize campaign assets, including images, copy, links, dynamic content, and personalization elements.
  • Execute audience segmentation and A/B testing across email and SMS.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Loyalty & Retention to maintain and execute the monthly CRM campaign calendar.
  • Manage list hygiene, suppression logic, and audience requirements.
  • Conduct thorough pre-send QA across devices, email clients, and platforms, including link validation, rendering, personalization, dynamic content, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and other stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, consistently, and on time.
What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience managing email and/or SMS campaigns from briefing through execution.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing:
    • Email campaigns, flows, segments, templates, and A/B tests.
    • SMS campaigns, flows, segments, templates, and A/B tests.
  • Experience with Klaviyo and/or Attentive preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and quality control.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A data-driven mindset and comfort working with campaign reporting and performance metrics.
  • Experience working with e-commerce or DTC brands.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of campaign execution in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in art, home décor, luxury retail, or other premium consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI/reporting tools.
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and retention strategy.
  • Experience with dynamic content and personalization.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills.
  • Experience working with both email and SMS as part of an integrated CRM/lifecycle program

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
