The Role:

Medely is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. This role will be crucial in adding rigor to decision making to ensure the company remains financially healthy as we scale. You will own budgeting, management reporting and analysis, and operational processes related to resource allocation. You will own and improve existing models, as well as develop new models and analyses as needed. The role reports to the Director, Strategic Finance and will have high exposure to the CFO and leaders across Medely. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, takes initiative, and is able to collaborate and build effective cross-functional relationships.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Partner with leadership across the business to translate strategic initiatives and operational goals into a financial outlook, shaping and influencing resource allocation decisions

  • Own the organization’s OpEx budgeting cycles, ensuring financial objectives such as margins, growth, efficiency, and productivity are appropriately analyzed, understood by business partners, and incorporated into planning

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting for management and investors

  • Partner with Accounting to ensure a timely and accurate month end close process, including flux reviews and adjusting entries

  • Become a Workday Adaptive expert, owning planning and reporting capabilities and continuously improving our driver-based models

  • Manage governance around spend decisions, partnering with Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, and IT to improve headcount and vendor management processes

  • Build ad hoc analyses from scratch that provide deeper understanding of company performance and enhance investment decisions

  • Proactively drive process improvements and optimization that promote maturity across all facets of our financial operations

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in prior fast-paced environments, with demonstrated background in corporate or operations finance (Accounting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or FP&A)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

  • Prior experience with Workday Adaptive or other similar financial planning tools

  • Elite Excel skills

  • Ability to synthesize complex financial information into concise, compelling outputs

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and move quickly without sacrificing attention to detail

  • A bias for action with the ability to spot opportunities, be resourceful, and drive projects to completion independently

Bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with Netsuite

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Metabase, and/or SQL

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles

Compensation Range: $113K - $138K
