This role is a unique opportunity to join AcuityMD’s Finance & Business Operations team in a foundational FP&A team that sits at the center of strategic decision-making. As an early finance hire, this individual will build core financial capabilities from the ground up—owning planning processes, standing up financial systems, and driving operational rigor across the business. This is more than just a finance role: it’s a chance to define the future of FP&A at AcuityMD and shape how we plan for and manage growth.
You’ll own critical responsibilities such as budgeting, long-range forecasting, and executive/Board reporting, while also partnering cross-functionally to bring financial clarity and discipline to our operations. You’ll collaborate closely with company leadership and department heads to ensure we’re making data-informed decisions aligned with our strategic goals.

Our team drives the planning and forecasting processes that align resources with company priorities, and we ensure financial rigor across departments through modeling, reporting, and business partnership. Responsibilities- Planning & Forecasting — Own and execute on the FP&A planning calendar, including annual budgeting, long-range planning, quarterly re-forecasts, and departmental budget reviews. Deliver accurate, timely, and coordinated planning outputs
- Financial Modeling - Own and maintain the company’s financial model, ensuring it evolves with the business. Update assumptions, structure, and logic to reflect changing priorities and business complexity
- Monthly Close - Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close process. Conduct accrual reviews, budget vs. actual analysis, and prepare financial commentary for leadership
- Executive & Board Reporting — Own and improve recurring reporting packages for company leadership and Board stakeholders. Ensure outputs are accurate, well-structured, and insight-driven.
- Tools & Process Automation — Continuously improve FP&A tools, templates, and processes. Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and scale financial operations through automation and systems integration
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial operations, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or tech company
- Advanced Excel or Google sheet modeling skills; experience maintaining three-statement financial models
- Highly organized and process-oriented, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills—you can distill complex financial concepts into clear insights for a range of stakeholders
- Strong time management and comfort with recurring deadlines (monthly close, forecast cycles, etc.)
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, planning tools like Mosaic/Anaplan, BI tools like Looker or Tableau) is a plus

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. Base salary range: $145,000-185,000
