Who We Are

At Robyn AI, we’re on a mission to build a more emotionally connected world. We believe in creating products that transform the way people connect and engage. We are backed by elite investors, including M13, Lars Rasmussen (cofounder of Google Maps), Bill Tai (seed investor in Zoom and Canva), and Christian Szegedy (cofounder of X.ai), with $5.5M raised to date.

Every decision we make is rooted in delighting users, fostering deep relationships, and making an impact that lasts. We move fast, operate with radical candor, and push for excellence. If you thrive in a high-stakes, high-velocity startup where you can shape the future of AI-driven experiences, this is your chance to build something groundbreaking.

The Role

As founding Product Manager, you’ll own the early user journey and drive product-led growth. You’ll bridge user insights, strategy, and execution, ensuring Robyn’s product is not just functional — but indispensable. This role is all about tactical execution, fast iteration, and scaling impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth & Engagement → Own acquisition, activation, and retention through data-driven experimentation.

  • Deep User Insights → Conduct research, analyze behavior, and leverage tools (Posthog, Mixpanel, Heap) to optimize product experiences.

  • End-to-End Execution → Define and prioritize high-impact features, from concept to launch.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration → Work closely with design, engineering, and marketing to bring ideas to life.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in product management, growth, or a similar role at a fast-paced startup, leading 0 → 1 products.

  • Proven track record of running growth experiments and driving user engagement.

  • Ability to translate vision into execution, owning the full product lifecycle and roadmap.

  • Experience in AI and consumer products is a plus.

  • A bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a passion for building category-defining products.

Why Robyn?

  • We’re mission-driven → We’re building an enduring company that transforms the way people connect.

  • Extreme ownership → Every team member is empowered to build, contribute, and win.

  • Fast execution → We believe in experimentation over pontification — if something isn’t working, we fix it fast.

  • A culture of excellence → High standards, radical candor, and no egos — just great work.

If you’re excited about designing emotionally intelligent AI experiences that people feel—not just use—we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
