We work with the top producers, actors, and filmmakers in Hollywood as well as creative-driven global brands. So far we’ve raised over $100M+ from world-class investors including General Catalyst, Bessemer, Khosla Ventures & Y Combinator – and we’re just getting started.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a Founding Marketer to build our marketing function from the ground up and help Moonvalley define a category at the frontier of AI and entertainment. This person will shape our narrative, own growth strategy, and drive early results across both Marey (our HD video model) and Maker (our e-commerce content generation platform).

This is a unique opportunity to join early and operate across product marketing, growth marketing, and brand strategy—setting the foundation for how Moonvalley is perceived, adopted, and scaled across industries.

What You’ll Do:
  • Craft and Own Our Narrative: Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with creative professionals, studios, brands, and builders. Distill technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions.

  • Build Growth Systems: Develop our growth engine from scratch—owning experiments, landing page optimization, lifecycle marketing, and onboarding strategy across channels and segments.

  • Lead Product Launches: Partner with Product and Creative to launch new capabilities and features. Develop go-to-market plans that cut through the noise and make an impact.

  • Design and Test Funnels: Set up full-funnel systems to measure and optimize awareness, activation, and conversion—especially around Marey and Maker user acquisition.

  • Drive Strategic Insights: Own early marketing analytics. Use experimentation and data to prioritize initiatives, evaluate performance, and inform both marketing and product strategy.

  • Collaborate Across GTM: Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Sales, and Community to ensure a unified story and experience. You’ll be an early glue between teams.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 7+ years of experience across product marketing and growth marketing, with strong exposure to zero-to-one environment

  • Proven ability to drive user acquisition and build high-performance funnels across web, lifecycle, and self-serve onboarding

  • Exceptional communicator with a sharp eye for messaging, voice, and narrative differentiation

  • Analytical mindset with experience in experimentation, funnel optimization, and measurement frameworks

  • Comfortable operating hands-on across tools, systems, and strategy—this role blends execution and leadership

  • Bonus: experience with AI (side projects are great!), creative tooling, or building for technical and non-technical audiences simultaneously
