FMS Financial Analyst – ESAG
BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a full-time FMS Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Space Force’s Enterprise Space Activity Group (ESAG). Our client is a boutique consulting firm providing strategic and operational support to defense agencies with a focus on financial modernization and mission alignment.

What You Will Do
As an FMS Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the operations and analysis of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) within the ESAG environment. This includes working directly with system users and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, data integrity, and the efficient operation of Foreign Military Sale operations. You will help translate financial data into actionable insights and ensure the system's outputs align with federal reporting requirements and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day FMS operations, ensuring accurate data entry, validation, and reconciliation
- Conduct system-based financial analysis and generate reports to support leadership decision-making
- Support FMS data quality efforts, system audits, and error resolution activities
- Collaborate with OCFO and technical teams to identify and troubleshoot system issues and propose enhancements
- Translate financial policies and operational requirements into system configuration or user support documentation
- Utilize tools such as DEAMS, ADVANA, Power BI, and Excel to perform data pulls, trend analysis, and financial modeling
- Document financial workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for system users
- Monitor financial transactions and system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force financial policies
- Support testing and validation of system changes, patches, and new features
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (any field)
- Experience Requirements (one of the following):
- 4 years of financial management experience in a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environment
- Preferred: Experience in FMS and accounting operations management.
- Preferred: DISA FAMIS, USAF Financial Business System experience.
- Security Clearance: Secret or higher
