Job Summary: 

GE Aerospace is seeking a Strategic Modeling Facilitator to join our centralized Strategic Modeling group. This role involves facilitating formal and informal projects, developing and maintaining probabilistic models, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in scenario development, quantitative risk assessment, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate 4-5 formal projects and 10+ informal framing facilitations per year.
  • Collaborate with modelers and coaches to develop and refine strategic models.
  • Write down and develop scenarios to represent a wide range of potential future outcomes.
  • Describe representative views of the future and identify key decisions and variables.
  • Quantify risks and benefits using probabilistic modeling tools, such as Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact decisions and variables to guide strategic actions.
  • Continuously refine assumptions and update models to reflect changes in external and internal factors.
  • Translate strategic outcomes into actionable plans aligned with annual LTS cycles.
  • Develop internal capabilities to maintain and expand the use of probabilistic modeling across GE Aerospace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in strategic planning, scenario development, and quantitative risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in probabilistic modeling tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
