The Role

Financial Settlement Specialist will play a role in the financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of events through the AXS ticketing platform. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, reconciling financial data, and providing exceptional support to both clients and venue partners.

What you will do


  • Run weekly reports from our AXS ticketing system to track revenues and liabilities.
  • Assist with reconciliation and financial analysis projects.
  • Work with our clients’ finance teams to ensure the timely and accurate financial settlement of events using the AXS ticketing platform.
  • Calculate settlement amounts and fees for events sold in the AXS system to support payments to clients.
  • Provide reporting to our clients to support settlement payments and invoices.
  • Assist our venue partners with reporting and financial issues related to AXS ticketing.
  • Respond to client inquiries about settlement and finance issues with prompt and clear communication.
  • Accurately audit our fee structures based on client contracts.
  • Work with our accounting team to produce journal entries that provide general ledger support.

Qualifications (ALL)

  • AA/AS Degree (2-year) (BA/BS Degree Preferred) Finance, Accounting, or relevant field of study
  • 1-2 years years of experience in Accounting or Finance OR Live Event or Ticketing
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel required, including pivot tables and some macros.
  • Creative problem solving.
  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Effective customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with auditing procedures.

Pay scale $23.17 - $29.00
