Your team


The Cross Functional Technology (CFT) team drives global Finance transformation by reimagining operating models and enabling scalable, technology-driven solutions. The team partners across Controllers, Treasury, Tax, and Finance functions to design, implement, and optimize platforms that support critical financial operations and strategic priorities. CFT combines deep functional expertise with technology innovation to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and accelerate adoption of emerging capabilities such as artificial intelligence and automation. The team takes pride in delivering scalable solutions that help Finance operate more efficiently while enabling future growth and transformation.

 


Your role and impact


As a Financial Platforms Architect, you will serve as a strategic partner across Financial Consolidation and Treasury domains, helping shape the future of Finance technology. You will bridge business and technology priorities by designing modern platform solutions, advancing automation opportunities, and driving innovation across core Finance processes. This role offers the opportunity to influence platform strategy, accelerate adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, and improve decision-making through scalable, data-driven solutions.

 


Your responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives across financial close, consolidation, and treasury operations while contributing to the Finance platform strategy and roadmap.
  • Design scalable solutions that integrate enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise performance management (EPM), and Treasury platforms while strengthening data integration, controls, and process efficiency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for AI-enabled, agentic, and intelligent automation across Finance processes.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business needs into digital solutions and embed AI-enabled capabilities into Finance platforms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and promote thoughtful experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation across the team.
  • Support change management, training, and adoption activities that help stakeholders realize the value of new Finance capabilities.

 


Your experience


  • Experience in financial consolidation or Treasury, including relevant consolidation platforms or Treasury capabilities such as cash management, liquidity, or payments.
  • Strong understanding of financial data models, integrations, controls, application programming interfaces (APIs), and data pipelines.
  • Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise performance management (EPM), or Treasury platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate Finance processes and business requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), automation, or analytics capabilities to business processes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently in evolving or ambiguous environments.
  • Structured problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and their business applications.
For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$112,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
