ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join the Strategy & Analysis Team! Individual reports to Director, FP&A and Strategy. Role is remote - must reside in the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Mint and Ultra brands in the FP&A process as it relates to various credit programs/initiatives. You will play a crucial role in tracking & reporting credit-related metrics and articulating impacts to financial performance while distilling key drivers of results into useful insights to support strategic business decisions. This position requires strong financial acumen, keen analytical skills, the highest standard of accuracy and organization, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to other members of the finance team and across the organization.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

Your Mission: 

  • Support the financial planning and analysis process by analyzing and reporting credit program performance for Mint and Ultra brands. 
  • Monitor credit-related KPIs, track performance against targets, and assist in providing insights to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify and implement new credit analysis processes, and improve the quality of forecasts by understanding customer utilization patterns as they relate to accepting and utilizing credits across various brand programs. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Implement standardized credit reporting and analysis for both brands, providing key insights for forecast and communication to senior management and brand stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of credit variances to targets and assist in the development of actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor key drivers of credit results by brand and evaluate against relevant benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities to financial performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance. 
  • 3-5 years of FP&A experience - financial forecasting, modeling, and analysis, preferably with credit reporting/analysis. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to complete tasks within specified timeframes, demonstrating reliability and efficiency. 
  • Experience working in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions. 
  • Technical Experience with SQL, Snowflake & Python.
  • Experience in public companies.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 - $105,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.  The specific programs available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
