Develop a strong network of working relationships with groups across the business to effectively executive on complex initiatives. Build and maintain financial models, develop presentations, and communicate regularly with finance senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with departments across DISH including accounting, marketing, retention, operations and legal to provide business insights and recommendations on how to improve the financial results
- Analyze and value multi-billion dollar negotiations with speed and accuracy despite moments of high stress
- Monitor ongoing subscriber trends
- Collaborate with various team members to construct the annual Programming COGS budget
- Perform ad-hoc analyses related to cost-savings opportunities and other corporate initiatives
- Build and maintain financial models to track and forecast spending
- Interpret financial data and communicate recommendations to department leadership and company executives
- Develop financial reports to monitor key metrics, interpret financial results, and seek out areas of concern and/or opportunity.
- Read and understand contractual agreements
- Audit financials for contractual compliance
- Utilize creativity to develop solutions outside-of-the-box
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with some knowledge of database basics (e.g. Power Query, SQL) helpful
- Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)
- Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials
- Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with or ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, and OneStream)
- Great work ethic and willingness to learn about new concepts and different cultures
