Labcorp is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our team in Burlington or Durham, NC

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

May require occasional overtime during peak periods and periodic travel for meetings or training. This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Conduct variance analysis and explain significant deviations

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 2 or more years of experience in financial analysis or a related role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

  • Professional certification such as CPA or CFA

  • Experience with financial planning tools and ERP systems

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams

  • Adapt to a fast-paced office environment with extended periods of desk/computer work
