The Financial Analyst, supporting the Game Show Group is responsible for analyzing financial data, accounts receivables, payment processing, reporting, and monthly close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Cash application and payment tracking
  • Monthly close support in Medea
    • Reconcile supporting reports in Medea to general ledger
    • Run various month end reports including: Billing, Cash Receipts, Revenue Adjustments, and Agings
    • Review sub counts and revenue by affiliate for reasonableness
  • Data entry into financial systems (Medea) including monthly sub counts and revenue by provider
  • Manage accounts receivables inboxes, organize and file affiliate reports and follow up to ensure timely receipt of all reporting.
  • Review affiliate reports, calculate subscriber and revenue metrics, perform FX/tax adjustments, and ensure net revenue ties to payments received.
  • Maintain spread sheets for all USN carriage fees.
    • Track accruals and payments by provider.
    • Reconcile liability by provider for reasonableness
    • Reconcile total liability in g.l. to spread sheets
  • Import payments, apply to invoices, allocate lump sums across services, and resolve unapplied balances.
  • Run aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, confirm payment status, and escalate issues as needed
  • Prepare all journal entries for g.l. related to Affiliate activity (revenue, costs of sale, contra-revenue, receivables and liabilities)
  • On a monthly basis, review Fast Channel revenue, partner fees and receivables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience (internships may count for entry-level roles)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The anticipated base salary for this position is $30/hour to $34.61/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
